@NateandAllisMom on demonstrated interest, we visited prior to Covid, a couple of virtual info sessions, and daughter attended the info session given at her high school virtually. Not sure how much a large school like Umass looks at demonstrated interest? Good luck!

no in the past they have done waves at UMass. Do not assume you are not accepted.
daughter accepted math major in state
34 act
98 gpa
no honors college which surprised me
My college sophomore who has almost identical stats as dd21 except more EC’s and a 34 instead of a 33 on her ACT’s got into honors at every school she was accepted at except Rutgers, I’m guessing UMASS has a different way of calculating honors (my oldest had to decide between UMASS and Rutgers, business, decided to be practical and stay in NJ).
D accepted today-In State, Biology.
Honors College and Dean’s scholarship.
1550 SAT and 4.2 GPA. Strong EC’s and a Varsity athlete, also has a regular job outside our home.
We didn’t even visit yet.
Anyone get accepted who are test opt?
