Hey everyone I'm wondering what everyone thinks my chances are for admission into the Sport Management Program at UMass Amherst.
My gpa is 3.2 and with honors recalculated for UMass its around a 3.55
My SAT scores are 660 Math 560 CR and 540 Writing totaling to 1760.
Go to a top public school in-state.
I have been an assistant coach for JV and Vartsity baseball since 10th grade, I help both varsity soccer teams, set up a hockey tournament, and I manage an indoor soccer team. What would you say my chances are?
I also am on the mailing list, have emailed admissions twice, and attended the open house. I applied EA.
Any feedback would be awesome!
Thank you!

Anyone???

bumpppppppppp

Is UMass Amherst sport management more selective than the average?

Yup according to the person from UMass that visited my school, UMass has one of the top sports management programs. That, engineering, nursing, and business are the harder ones to get into at UMass. I would say high match. I think UMass only looks at reading and math so that low writing score doesn’t matter.

Thanks for the input plus I was told for math they want through precalc and I am currently taking AP Calc AB and AP Statistics.

Bumpppp more input please

Anymore please

bummppppppppp

Can anyone help me please? Also I was told by the UMass admissions rep that visited my school that they look for a 3.5 gpa(including honors) 600 math portion of the SAT, through precalc, and have experience in the Sports field.

buummmpppp

Bummmmpppp

anyone now maybe?

I have had 2 AP classes and 14 honors classes.

Match/high match with that additional info from the UMass rep.

Match/high match. Is there any chance you could be accepted and transfer into SM your sophomore year? If so, then match. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1426652-ohio-state-chances.html#post15139798
