Anyone know why some transfers hear before others?
I was told by admissions I would hear in late may but has anyone talked or emailed with admissions about it lately?

I haven’t heard back either and I applied in the beginning of February. I think it depends on when you applied, and they usually have a lot of applicants to look over as well! Good luck!

Email or call admissions and ask about your specific mailing time. It seems most transfers have not heard back yet, otherwise it would be all over these threads

ill write back on here when i get mine in:) and thanks! ill do that

I only heard early because I did mass transfer, and with that your get ‘priority processing’ also they contacted me by phone because they wanted to know my grades for a few courses. I ended up speaking w/ the transfer counselor and she told me she was admitting me. This was almost a month ago, yet I STILL have not got a formal letter. Umass is not very helpful about the letters when you call, they have it set up where they can just tell you ‘they go out until june’. But I’ve still gotten nothing in the mail from financial aid OR from admissions. So by now I’m a little worried myself :-/.

you guys should check your spire accounts. i never got a letter or anything from them but BOTH my acceptance and financial aid awards were on spire (as of today). they told me that they would mail them first before it showed up in spire. BUT i think there was either an issue with the mailings or some other problem.

hmm…still no financial aid here? I hope it comes in soon. I would like to know what I am going to have to apply for in loans if need be.
