Honors college assuming there’s no big difference in cost. The commonwealth honors program is a really great program and has high visability
UMass Honord if it’s affordable.
Sidenote: don’t major in bio unless you have a very specific interest in research.
Bio has one of the lowest ROIs. Thee are so many premedd who can’t get into med school that there are lots of them all looking for the same ryoenifbiib, which often requires further study to boot. If you like biology look into Biostatistics or Bioinformatics.
What did you decide
I went with UMD even though most of my family told me UMASS. UMASS just felt too familiar: my brother goes there, about 80 kids from my school are going there, ect. I also loved the Maryland campus and bio research programs that are there.
