<p>Hello, I am a prospective student for both UMass Amherst and Rutgers and I am in a bit of a problem.</p>
<p>Right now, I love both of these schools and am planning to get into their engineering schools. I want to get prospectives from both schools to see where I want to go.</p>
<p>Both schools are ranked about the same in terms of their engineering program. I wanted to go to some private schools for engineering; I live in Pennsylvania and did not get accepted into the main campuses of Penn State and Pitt, so these schools are probably my most efficient choices.</p>
<p>For me, both colleges are expensive; UMass Amherst is a little cheaper, at 28k while Rutgers costs about 33k. </p>
<p>For both schools, how is their housing, campus life, their student body, and their diversity? I want to get a clearer picture of both before making my decision.</p>
