Umass Vs. UCLA Vs. UVa

Hey guys I was lucky enough to be accepted to UCLA and UVa and Umass CHC as a safety. I plan on majoring in chemistry on the premed track. I’d be paying in-state tuition at Umass, so I’m wondering if UCLA or UVa is actually that much better for getting into medical school. Finances are not a problem because my parents can pay full price for any of these schools. I’m not really sure what to do.

Thanks for any input.

If price isn’t a problem, both UVA and UCLA are head and shoulders above UMass (don’t really want to say that, but ranking wise, it’s true). I would definitely consider them over UMass if you plan on going to med school. But the bigger question would be if you feel comfortable about going to school so far away from home or not.

Also, maybe try posting this in the part of the College Confidential where it’s more for general discussions about different schools rather than just specifically one. You might get better answers there cause those people know more about all the different schools’ programs. (And the answers might be less biased).

Edit: I’m talking about maybe posting it here- http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/

Thanks!

My nephew got into med school right out of UVa undergrad.
