So far, I've gotten acceptance letters from UMBC, UMCP (Scholars Program), and Drexel. Overall, which do you think should I lean towards to as of now? Which ones should I definitely drop? Which school is better in chemistry (and maybe chemical engineering?), internship/work opportunities, and hands-on experience?

I am a incoming undergraduate student and have narrowed down my options to UMBC or drexel. My major or field of interest is nursing. I was wondering where you ended up going and if you could answer some of my questions and give me some advice.
I was going through and trying to see what my options were I know that Drexel has an amazing nursing program and and it is very hands on because of the co-op program opportunities and the amount of hands on experience they give up with simulation lads and training. My major setback was the tuition because I have been accepted into the three co-op program.
Also UMBC is another choice because it is so close to home I could commute, also because it has affiliation with UMB the Baltimore school of nursing which has made the top ten list for nursing for past years and currently hold rank #9.
I am very confused about the where to go and can’t come up with a decision, drexel is a dream and UMBC is a reality, although my parents have left it up to me, I honestly do know they will be taking a huge loan if I decide on Drexel. Additionally, I could always go to grad school at drexel because I am thinking about majoring in the specialty nursing of Anesthesia.
Please let me know if you can help or if you have any comments or recommendations.
Thank You

For Chemical Engineering – we were between UMBC, Drexel & Delaware. You need to visit. Drexel and UMBC are completely different when it comes to campus/student body/diversity/and programs. visiting is a must!

I live very close to UMBC and have visited the campus a few times. It feels more like a community college campus than a university, so you may want to take that into account.

@hs8647 hey i am in the same situation with you right now and i was wondering where did u end up going to college???
