<p>My D got accepted into the Spring 2014 which I guess is Freshman Connection. She was not admitted to her choice of Criminal Justice which is a limited enrollment program, but rather to Letters and Sciences. Disappointing- she will not be attending UMD I suppose.</p>

It wasn’t until the day before the deadline that a peer told me that my essay didn’t answer the essay prompt. Either way, UMD administrators must have liked my unique approach enough to give me the green light. Maryland’s my second choice so I’m happy that I got in :)</p>

<p>Do you think you will do freshman connection? My s. just got into it. The more I read about the incredible (Ivy League ball park) grades and scores of those who got in fall, the better I feel about his getting in even in spring, where still very strong qualiifications are required</p>
