I’ve been planning on applying to UMD College Park for the last couple of months, and even though it’s not my first choice, have tried to stay very up to date on what the requirements are. I first check the application requirements probably in August, around when I decided to apply, and noted that it didn’t seem like it required much. Because I noticed this, I kept checking every so often since then, but every time I’v seen essentially the same information from all the pages I could find and/or access on the Coalition App, and on UMD’s maze of an admissions site.
So, long story short is I was checking one last time to make sure I was doing everything right before submission, and feel like the info I"m seeing now is totally different than it was before, and requirements are very unclear. So what I need to know is does UMD require the Coalition Application essay? Does it need to be submitted by 11:59:59 on the 31st or the 1st? Do mailed in transcripts need to be there on November 1st exactly, or is a few days after alright?
I’m so confused on the requirements so if anyone has this done and can spell it out for me that would be very helpful.
