In the University of Maryland application(via colalition), it states “to tell us more about yourself, please complete the following sentences using only the space provided”. Each questions begins a sentence and has you finish it, but you are given 160 characters. Should I try and use all 160 characters in multiple sentences or just write one sentence? Thanks!
You have up to 160 characters, including punctuation and spaces. These are meant to be short answers to give admissions officers the opportunity to glimpse a different aspect of you than what they see in the essays. Use whatever number of characters you need, but don’t worry if you don’t use them all.
When I filled out the app, I used multiple sentences, but use however many characters/sentences you need to get your answer/personality across.
