Fresh and soph gpa werent so good, unweighted 3.00 but my junior gpa was an unweighted 3.6 .

4 years basketball and baseball (varsity for both), 3 years spanish and 4 years hebrew. I have a dual curriculum because i go to a jewish private school so i have both english and hebrew courses factored into my gpa. Went to new orleans for a habiatat for humanity trip, visited old age homes bunch of times, worked with special needs children, babysat a lot. I also plan on retaking sats to boost my math ( i know i can get high 600 low 700) and i am taking ACT in october. Also took honors courses for all my studies except for a few hebrew courses, and i am taking AP stat senior year. I want to apply to school of engineering. Thanks in advance!

If My scores do go up, however, to a superscored 1300 (out of 1600), do you think I’d be able to get in? I also forgot to mention i have experience in the engineering field, as i am working for my township as well (as we speak, even)

While a math score of 640 is certainly above average for all test takers and may even be above the average for all students admitted to the University of Maryland, it is very marginal for engineering students at Maryland. Getting accepted as an engineering major is going to be a reach and if you are accepted you better be prepared to work very hard because most of your engineering classmates are going to have Math SAT scores in the 700 and above range.

I think because your cumulative GPA is low, your chances of getting into the school of engineering are slim to none. If you could get your CR+M score up to 1400, then you may have a chance of just getting accepted, but not into the school of engineering.
