He applied to comp sci. His AP comp sci teacher really liked him and told him he wrote a string rec for him. He got 4/5’s in all his APs and volunteered for the last two years at the Smithsonian. Completed over 600 SSL hours.

My son is in for Mechanical Engineering and invited to Honors College!
My OOS daughter is in too! As an alum, I’d love for her to go to UMD. Now, just to swallow that price tag.

Yes, but you can take the gateway classes and reapply to comp sci.
