<p>We’re in MD and know a few folks who attend UDel. They like that it’s big school feel, but it’s not as overwhelmingly large as UMD can feel.</p>
<p>Can she take the ~$24,000 in Staffords that you won’t have to co-sign?
Or are you already assuming she will take out Staffords as part of her share of the expense, and the $24,000 additional for UMD would be in loans above the Stafford amounts? </p>
<p>Remind her that if she picks UMD and then decides she is unhappy there and wants to transfer to UDel, that UDel merit scholarship is likely gone.</p>
