As the title states, I’m between these three schools.
I’m oos for all three.
Costs:
UMD 32k
tOSU 30k
Virginia Tech 28k
UMD seems to be ranked the highest for CS but will this ranking ultimately matter? Will one of these schools allow me to get into a top company or top grad school over the others? I would prefer to be in or near a big city like Columbus or Washington, but I didn’t mind the small town feel of Blacksburg. Can anyone help chose one over the other? Thanks
Either school is good. UMD is best for CS yes, but OSU is fantastic as well. Can you afford the 30-32K or not really?

UMD is a great school for CS plus you’re by DC and Baltimore. If you can afford it and actually LIKE the campus, then I would say there.
CS at UMD is stellar. Virginia Tech is excellent too (not quite at UMD’s level, but not so different that it’d impact your post-graduation choices).
