DS got Freshman Connection admit. OOS (NY) 1320/3.65 rigor, good ECs. Will definitely investigate this option.

Just got in with Honors, applied CS from OOS. Just keep waiting, I got my decision a lot later than some of my friends.

Son accepted for Mechanical Engineering.
From Fairfax County, VA public school.
GPA 3.86 unweighted / 4.30 weighted
SAT 700 English 760 Math
About 10 AP classes
Varsity baseball. (not recruited by UMD though)

was it in your decison letter?
I think computer science is a limited enrollment major, so you will need to complete a free courses in freshman year with available grades, then transfer into CS before sophomore year
yes, they explained it in the second paragraph of my letter
