Last year housing links went out in the morning of the 14th and decisions were out at approximately 4:45pm. By that metric alone I’d say the chance that we know our fate today is at least moderately high!
Specifically, 9:36am and 4:54pm, respectively. (Both on April 14)
lol how do you know that?
Also see page 9. I am assuming that there was a short amount of time from the when the links and acceptances were received to when postings on the forum were made.
does anyone think were gonna get our admission decisions today or nah?
Well like econgeek said, I think if you received the housing link this morning you should check at around 5pm today for a decision.
i seriously hope we get them today… im pretty sure we are all stressed out and tired of waiting and admissions is probably sick and tired of people calling to ask when our decisions are ready lol. i just want to know ASAP!
Wait a second…I found the link! It was just a different place than I thought it would be. I feel slightly better now but obviously that’s not an official yes.
Where did you find it?
Here is another great forum regarding the Dining and Housing link:
Scroll down on the application portal and you will see “Housing and Dining Agreement (For admitted students only)” It’s one of the big bold titles, not on the side bar.
The real question is: if I submit my housing app now will they notice and punish me in any way? Can I gain an edge worth that risk?
@Rluna25520 thanks for that link!
Any international transfer got the housing links? I did not see it and just feel so stressful right now.
I have the link on my portal but didn’t get an email, what does that mean?
emails weren’t sent out yet, maybe until like 5pm today or tomorrow or friday
does anyone know how many transfer students UMD is accepting for the fall semester?
“For the Fall 2015 transfer class, we received 4,948 applications for a class of 1,777. The average college GPA for an admitted transfer student was 3.23.” -Transfer student profile page
Admissions said they put my middle name instead of my first name for my HS Transcripts. Created a whole new identity. That’s why I don’t have the Housing Link. They said I’d get an email with a decision in 7-10 days.
I’m an international transfer and I still don’t see such link. So nerve-wrecking.
