They usually say you will find out about your financial aid package within a couple weeks of your acceptance, so by May 1.
I never got the housing glitch thing but I was still accepted into UMD. Congrats to everyone else.

@TrainH Ok I am glad you contacted her. Now that you have her attention, do not let a lot of time pass if you do not hear a decision. It is really important that you stay on top of it and do not just accept that you have not gotten a response. If you do not hear anything from UMD in 3-5 days I would recommend emailing her again and letting her know. Good luck!
For those who have paid their deposit, Has anyone been able to make their directory ID yet? Its been about 48 hours for me. Im just anxious to get the ball rolling!
@acurrey416, It’s been 48 hours for me also and I can not do it. I am going to call in the morning. I really want to sign up for orientation.

@aoakes87 actually I was just rereading the thing about orientation and it says allow up to 48 business hours, which would be like 6 business days right? thats a long time hahah
I think 48 business hours just means two business days.

@gunnerforlife Set up a final transcript to be sent to UMD once grades are posted with your current school. UMD will evaluate you based on the end of semester GPA and what courses you have completed (for example, have you completed your gateway courses to the Business program by the end of this semester?)
@acurrey416 Did it work yet for you? It still doesn’t work for me. I called and they said their system shows I confirmed I’ll be going to UMD. They said to wait and if it doesn’t work by Monday to call back.
@aoakes87 Nope still nothing on my end either. Bank account shows that I paid my deposits on Tuesday. Strange.
@aoakes87 I just talked to IT and they said admissions is overloaded and our info will be up Monday so we can do it then.
Oh ok! Thanks for letting me know! I have been on it like every 15 minutes trying!!! Now I can take a break!
@gunnerforlife I received the same letter however I had all my gateways completed. In my case it would not matter to turn in my final transcript as I would more than likely get turned down and be declared Letters and Sciences. Depends on your scenario.

Congrats to everyone else was accepted. For months, I have been checking this page for updates and it helped me deal with all my admission anxiety. Here are my stats.
- Accepted for the Fall 2015 semester (will be a junior then) :) -45 credits completed, 60 by the end of the current semester
- 3.3 GPA but a serious upward trend in grades -MD resident
- Strong recommendation letter
- Community Health/Pre Nursing Major

I was wondering if anyone else hasn’t heard a decision from UMD yet. I go to Montgomery College and I’m in MTAP. I have 28 credits right now but will have 30 by the end of the semester. But I’m starting to get really scared that I didn’t get in. I know sometimes they hold decisions until you send your final transcript but idk. I called UMD and emailed the person they told me to but haven’t gotten a response yet.
So basically my question is are their other MTAP students from MC who have confirmation that once we send our final transcript its guaranteed admission?

I haven’t heard from UMD either. I’m at CSM and submitted my application for the priority deadline. I just emailed them tonight after reading this thread and seeing everyone else found out Friday. My application still says “Submitted.” ~O)
