UMD vs UDEL

<p>I was accpeted to UDEL and UMD Im trying to decide where i should go. Im a chemistry major.</p>

<p>UMD PROS:
-better name
-great campus, i like the feel of the school better
-better sports
-scholars program? (seems kinda pointless to me)
-$2k/yr scholarship</p>

<p>UDEL PROS:
-Honors program: guaranteed 25 or less students per class, more professor interaction, really good opportunities to get involved with research.
-$9k/yr scholarship</p>

<p>Im out of state for both, and my parents said they could afford either one. The only thing holding me back from enrolling is the fact that Delaware's honors program seems like it provides such good opportunities. Also, does anyone know which school is more fun/has good parties and activities?</p>

<p>This isn’t an answer to your question, but just a comment. I just want to make sure you don’t think the honors program guarantees that all your classes will be small at UDEL. Your honors classes (those with guarantee of 25 or less students) will probably be a small number of the total classes you take. Nice, nonetheless, but I don’t want you thinking all your classes will be small if that’s not the case (and I’m quite sure it’s not).</p>
