UMD with no housing v UCONN w. housinng

so i got into uconn as a sophmore transfer with housing...and umd with no housing......

is living on campus that much of a difference in terms of getting me making friends..meeting ppl...etc?

UCONN is awesome and since Storrs is in the middle of nowhere, living on campus is your best option at UCONN. Good luck.

melon I am in sort of a biased viewpoint because I am actually going to UMD...but look on the off campus housing website, you can live in a frat/sorority without actually participaing in the houses activities. They are on or close to campus, and it is a fairly good way to meet people, PM me if you want more info

Kenneth G. Wilson taught at UConn. That guy is great. Go there.

The parties at UCONN are great but again I must warn you that we are in the middle of no where

definitely Uconn- because you're coming in as a transfer, it will be a lot easier to meet people in the dorm.

well i'd be livin in parkside whhich is like a dorm basically it has a hallway and shiat clsoe to campus but not in the campus......kidna like a dorm
