UMDCP vs. UMass Amerhest vs. GaTech for CS

<p>Which of these three schools would you recommend for Computer Science? I've gotten into all three, but I'd like some outside opinions about the programs. Preferably with people who have had direct experience with any of them (or have had friends in them). </p>

<p>Leave cost out of your opinions for now, although that is a significant factor, so if you want to include it as a side note at the end, I would appreciate that. Keep in mind these are rough estimates and I'm still waiting on a few outside scholarships.</p>

<p>UMDCP ~15k each year in loans
GaTec ~17k each year in loans
UMass Amherst ~ 5-6k each year in loans</p>

<p>I think UMCP and GTech have reputations as the best state schools in the country. UMass Amherst on the other hand is not quite that strong.</p>

<p>UMass is pretty good CS program. certainly the other schools aren’t worth 40K (4 yr total) more (probably 45K total more when factoring in the interest which accumulates while in school). If price were even I’d go with GT.</p>
