Deferred Could not change my major last night

Us too for the premiere scholarship. What a disappointment.

Not sure if it was @csol116 or @ben112 or maybe someone else, but your discovery was dead on. Everyone admitted was able to change major, and everyone rejected/deferred was not able to change major. Good job on your insightful observation, and thanks for sharing

My yearly cost of attendance after my 22k scholarship is like 48k a year, so I won’t be going! Not looking to spend that much money for an undergraduate education. Looking at Alabama right now because of it being so cheap because of scholarships, then I’m waiting on full ride opportunities at Creighton (Scott Scholars, if anyone here is a junior I highly recommend applying!), Washington and Lee, Duke, Indiana University, Villanova, couple others.

Probably will end up at Notre Dame (haha Catholics VS Convicts)
assuming they meet my EFC, and I don’t get the full ride at Creighton or any of my other options. Also applied to Vandy, Harvard, and Stanford, but very slim chances.

Miami has a gorgeous campus, best of luck to everyone who attends next year and to anyone who has been deferred!

Accepted—Texas, Rank 1st, 104.7% gpa (non traditional gpa method) 11 APs, Lots of ECs, Great Recommendations

For those asking about the major—I could change it in the portal.

Presidential Scholarship $25,000 per year
Grants and Endowed Gift as well. (Great Package)

Miami top three (choice wise). Awaiting two other responses, but “The U” just took a giant step forward. Good luck to everyone going forward!

Thank you Miami!
