Does anyone know if EA applicants can still be invited for a premier scholarships when decisions are released?

Invites were sent in December, so I think you can’t be invited now, but you can still receive good merit scholarships.

To my knowledge at this point it would be other type of merit scholarships but not the big names ones if you weren’t already invited to apply.

More than one merit scholarship from The U. No. It states clearly on the website that applicants can only receive one merit scholarship from UM.

Based on last year, my guess is that EA will come out on Jan 28

Last years results were on 1/29 but 2020 was on 1/24 so I guess it could be this week or next :woman_shrugging:

Yep and since my son was accepted in 2020 EA - it came in the evening not the afternoon - I can also state there was really no warning. Yes they made sure everyone could access the portal sometime earlier in the month but basically he got an email to check the portal for an update and that was how he found out.

You mean the email that was saying to make sure your portal was working? I remember it coming early January in 2020. It really wasn’t a marker or didn’t seem to be. It was making sure everyone could access. Some people find the CaneLink system a bit tricky and bulky. My daughter this time around actually forgot to open her portal at all until I asked her if she had and she ran to do it. The original email slipped into junk so she had missed it. With my son - nothing changed in his portal at all until the email came stating to look for the decision. Mine don’t qualify for scholarships - my husband is on faculty of the med school so we don’t see those type of updates.
