Does anyone know why they have spring admission? Do they figure students will transfer out, leaving room for new students?

They might
No they come out BY April 1st. This means that they can come out any day now. The reason why it’s most likely today is because Miami is known for releasing decisions on fridays and this is the last Friday before April 1st so while there’s still a small chance it won’t come out today, past years say otherwise.
