I have all of my college decisions and I have decided that I would like to attend either, University of Miami or Boston University. I am majoring in biomedical engineering with pre-med and I'm honestly stuck with which one to choose. Both locations are convenient to my family and I with Boston being closer to my brother. Does anyone have any opinions on which college is better for my major and a better overall school. Miami would be cheaper for me but money is not my main concern in this post. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bump. Bump…

I think the two schools are comparable. UM is smaller and has a slightly stronger incoming class. BU is more nationally known in general.

I think BU is probably a bit stronger for BME, while UM is a bit stronger for premed.

I would go where you want to be socially and geographically. Obviously the two schools have two very different feels.

City, cold (BU) vs suburbs of a city, hot (UM)

Boston is a great city full of college kids. UM is true campus with lots of outdoor activities all year.

Have you visited both? Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either.
