I want to major in international studies, and I am asian.</p>
<p>Between UMiami or UW,Seattle, which one should I go?
I'm not from USA so location doesn't matter, my family aren't here.
Moneywise, UW is much cheaper, but both are affordable. </p>

<p>Oh I forgot to mention it, but I am a senior in US high school, and this is my 4th year, I don’t think I would have culture shock. But I’ve heard that UW has active asian organizations, though. Thanks!</p>
<p>Seattle, being located in the Pacifi Rim has a LOT of cultures represented, especially those from the Asian countries. IF the feeling of familiarity with your peers offers comfort, this makes an easy choice as they are very different in this area…</p>
<p>as far as International studies, I cannot comment but if it is a spring board to law school, you will certainly be bringing with you a worthy degree from either school - UW is well regarded on the west coast AND internationally…</p>

<p>Personally, I’d much rather spend 4 years in Seattle than Miami. UW is also more highly regarded, and if it’s that much cheaper, I would definitely choose it over UM.</p>
