<p>My S is considering these 2 schools for broadcast journalism/communications. He likes them both. Aside from the obvious weather difference, does anyone have any comments about comparisons between the two programs?</p>
<p>I think Newhouse is a more well known and highly regarded program. I went to Syracuse for two years and my son is at Miami majoring in Communications. If I can answer any other questions for you, feel free to ask.</p>
<p>newhouse for sure has a much better reputation. i would definitely say newhouse, assuming you don't hate the cold. because really, miami and syracuse are essentially the same schools, only one is really cold and the other's really hot. and newhouse has the stronger reputation...</p>
