<p>Was accepted to the School of Communications at Miami and Newhouse at Syracuse for studying Broadcast Journalism. Now trying to figure out which would be best to attend, of course I've heard nothing but marvelous things about Newhouse but also heard Miami may be a better all around school. Which would be best for my major? Would Newhouses incredible rank or Miami being right in the second largest media market be better for internships and an eventual job?

<p>Two great options, no doubt. Miami’s Visual Journalism major is broad based and is pretty strong in a lot of the “new media” concentrations. Additionally, you graduate with a double major, one which would complement your journalism degree, a bonus to potential employers.
