umich admission

I submitted all the materials in early oct to umich, and didn't get the
decision yet. I see lots of ppl who are already accepted to this school.
If I didn't get the decision yet, does that tell me that I am probably waitlisted or rejected?
Does umich announce "got accepted" on 24th december to who submitted application that early? awwwww I hate waiting for the decision of my dream school.

+I just submitted my sat2 nov scores, which are math1c 700 and ushistory 630. I am an asian, and international student. Is it better to appeal with those bad scores?

i havent heard from michigan either and I applied on october 6. i know its frustrating but we have to be patient.

I applied early october and got accepted in the last round, but I have friends with equal stats who applied in early August and haven’t heard yet…so don’t be too worried there’s no rhyme or reason to it.

last round…?
ah im awfully scared myself about umich

Well, the fact that you haven’t heard yet may not necessarily be a good sign, but it may not be a bad sign either. I feel like if it takes longer to get a decision, they may not be sure if they want to accept you or not - however I’m not sure if this is true. Personally, I had everything in by 10/1 and people who applied after me got accepted in the first two rounds, and then I got accepted in the third round. So I really don’t think there’s any way to know, you just have to wait and see.

^lol…thanks for clearing up the confusion Sam

Haha no prob

what exactly are the rounds? how do you know about them?
well i applied on 10/30 so…ugh

They had been releasing a “round” of decisions every two weeks on Thursday. Included in the round were groups of applicants who had submitted at different times. The applicants not included in these rounds are a bit jumpy now, since today maked a departure from the formerly normal every two week Thursday rounds, thus the widespread panic and gnashing of teeth that we are experiencing now.
