<p>Does UMich's aid worsen over time? I know that juniors and senior rates are higher, but does UMich offer good aid for the first year, lure in students, and then become stingy? This year I received good aids and a lot of grants. Will that continue as long as my financial situation is static or is it likely to change after freshman year?</p>
<p>That was my concern also, but was told by the financial aid office that the grant to loan proportion and the EFC and gap amount should remain the same provided the financial situation is the same.</p>
