Any advice and recommendations will be greatly appreciated! I'll be happy to chance anyone back who needs it. Once again, thanks a ton!

First of all, how is it possible for you to take 3 sciences (especially AP’s) in the same year…

Regardless, I’d consider it a match.

Macro and Micro are semester courses, but I’m also taking physics. I don’t particularly see what’s wrong with that though?

Thanks for the advice!

UMI engineering: Match

Try GA Tech, or even Polytechnique (Montreal) if you want to do AeroE.

I was thinking about that, but since I’m with the Yellow Ribbon I’d be getting an almost Full Ride OOS compared to ~20k a year, which is something I don’t know I’d like to do. GT is a lot closer geographically and I’ve been considering it, but getting an almost equal (if not better, to some degree, from what I’ve heard) education for free is extremely attractive.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey GenApo, I think your rank and grade are a match. I also think your course load and tests score (Act) match what Mich is looking for. Ec’s are decent but I think you could get a bit more leadership in. What’s also great is that your course load shows the amount of effort you put into your work. 3 sciences?? I might be trip accel in math but dang! CHem and physics are nearly to much for me already! Overall good match. I also heard Mich likes students who aply early since it shows interest. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! Any further greatly appreciated!

You have a good chance. Try EA and then you may have a Merrier Christmas. ;-)

Hahahaha, that’d be nice. I hope I can make it in, since I’d be getting (hopefully) an offer near full ride. Any other advice?

Try to increase your SAT math score.

Ah, but the thing is that I intend to submit my ACT, not my SAT. Did pretty bad on the SAT :/. I wonder if my ACT math is high enough though. Thanks for the advice!

Like FlyMeToTheMoon said, your math score is a bit weak for engineering, even with the ACT section score. Do you have a plan to take Math2 subject test? Taking physics subject test would be good too, if possible. But you are not taking physics until next year. Are you in state?
Anyway, you still have a very good chance with your GPA and ACT score. So you should not worry much about that.
