What are my chances of getting accepted to the University of Michigan? I know my ACT score is a bit low, but I took it three times, and got 27 the last two times. SAT was crap. Thank you!

I got a 28 and am retaking it in September…the struggle is real I’m going through the same process as you and so I am obviously not well qualified to chance you…make sure you’re essays are good though! I know that a great essay can definitely help you out especially if you have an act below the average.

Can anyone help me, then?

How is your course rigor? ACT 27 is really stretching even for in state as the mid 50 is 30-33 now. If you did practice thoroughly (i.e. did many practice test) and reached a plateau in practice and also in the real test, there is probably little room for further improvement. You may apply to other satellite campus and seek for intercampus transfer in sophomore.
