Accepted LSA, OOS, Strong ECs.
Wow, I feel like there are a lot more OOS acceptances (esp for LSA) this time around when comparing with last year’s thread.
I just sent this same text to my kids.
Accepted! LSA Bio, OOS, 4.0UW/4.6W, 16 AP/H, editor-in-chief, founded two large clubs, varsity, part-time job, city volunteer award, no hooks.
Acceptance rate for In-State students typically hovers around 35-40%, while for OOS students it’s usually around 10-12%. Out of State students have a 22 point disadvantage according to the admission scale, so they need to compensate with stellar credentials and extracurriculars.

Do the acceptances seem higher to you this year over last?
Thanks for summarising, really appreciate it.
Congratulations to those accepted. Commiserations for those postponed.
Having said that, the appropriate response to any post announcing acceptance is “Congratulations.” Snarky responses are inappropriate and will be deleted with the poster receiving a warning.
Maybe a tad higher than normal, but CC is such a small sample size. And stats of CC members skew much higher than the general population of applicants.

This is a microcosm of the real world and people just don’t post that here. In the real world it happens.
No, but likely a lower chance. They will likely also accept some to CS at regular decision release
