I have been accepted to both schools, and i am having a hard time deciding between the two. i havent heard from all of my schools yet, but these two schools are certainly the two top choices for now. (It may change if i here from my top choice schools) I am an international student who is planning to study marketing, and maybe communications too.I know umich's business school has a slightly better reputation, and that unc's journalism/communications school is amazing. AHH I'm rly having a hard time deciding. Any advice?

go to UNC - nicer campus feel

Although I agree that UNC has a prettier campus than Michigan, I don't think it has a "nicer feel". Both schools have excellent campus cultures, school spirit and awesome surrounding college towns. In terms of Business Education, Michigan is better than UNC and in terms of Communication, UNC is better than Michigan. Overall, academically speaking, Michigan is slightly better than UNC, but not by enough to pick solely based on academics. The one way those two schools have significantly different environments and that's what I would use to chose between those two universities. You should visit the two schools and go for the school that feels better to you.

If you can get into Ross, go to Michigan. They are just finishing up new facilities which will probably bump them from 5 in the rankings to 1 or 2. If not, go to the campuses and see how you like the college life.

I personally like UNC much more, its smaller (16K undergrads) and feels like a private school. In my opinion UNC is one of the best college experiences in the country. That said, Michigan is a more international and diverse campus and Ross is top notch. I think Michigan might be a better option.

:D thanks for the input everybody!

Ann Arbor is a little more exciting than Chapel Hill. I think Franklin St could get real old real quick. But you have much nicer weather, so........Pick em.
