UMich Ann Arbor ??

I was accepted to college of engineering Umich a few days ago. It has been my top choice and I'm absolutely thrilled to go there ...
I want to confirm my decision but before that i want to make sure I'm making the right choice ...
I want to major in aerospace engineering. The only colleges i applied to that i think compare to Umich are UIUC, Gtech and UT Austin, UCLA.
I'm into a lot of ECs and i want to keep up with them ... but i don't want to sacrifice a good engineering program for that. I don't real mind the weather. I want to go to a school that isn't boring, which is academically driven but also allows you to have fun. Also i want to go to a school with good placement and stuff !
Is Umich the right college for me ? Should i go ahead and confirm it ?
Also, cost is not an issue.

Appreciate any advice :)

PS - i posted this in the Umich forum, but I'm posting it here too because i'd like a few more opinions :)

I am parent and I have a friend who teach EE in UM. It is a excellent school. Gtech/UT Austin is famous for Aerospace eng.

If it’s your number one school, then go for it! It is your #1 for a reason.

@CaliCash‌ it is definitely my #1  but i just wanted to make sure that I’m not missing out on any reason that UIUC/Tech/UT clearly beat UMich. If they’re all sort of neck to neck (peoples opinions differ) therse no doubt ill chose Umich :)

Cost isn’t a concern?

Where are you in-state?

BTW, there’s no rush; you have plenty of time to accept if you applied EA (or are you worried about getting a dorm?)

Cost is not a concern
Im an international student …
Yeah i am a bit worried about getting a good dorm …
But them main reason is, if i decide on UMich now, i can pull back other applications so that i won’t be taking somebody else’s place, if i get admitted … @PurpleTitan‌

I think Michigan will offer everything you are looking for. Congratulations on getting accepted! I say go for it. :)

Thank you  @intparent‌
