I applied to the LSA Computer Science school at Ann Arbor. I have a 100.8 weighted gpa (my school doesn’t do it on a 4.0 scale) up to my junior year. I took all AP classes junior year and one sophomore year as well as all AP classes this year. I am in the highest offered math course in my school and took all the computer science related classes that my school offered (including AP Comp Sci). I am part a few clubs including Science Olympiad, computer programming club, and the math team. I have a lot of volunteer experience in my town, temple, school, and a women’s shelter. I also have some leadership experience in my pipe band (I play the bagpipes) and in a group that does cool science experiments for little kids. I have done summer camps in the summers at NYU that focused around computer programming such as game development in C++ and web programming. In addition, I know how to code in python, java, c++, pHp, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. What are my chances???
You cannot convert % GPA to UMich’s uwGPA calculation. For instance, if you have any B grade or grade below 90, even your average is above 90, it would not be 4.0 after UMich’s recalculation as you will have one B grade.
Are you a senior right now? If so, have you applied already or looking for a gap year? It is near the end of RD admission cycle already. If you have not been admitted, your chance is not good. Your test scores are okay. For LSA from OOS, it should be a very high match to low reach due to the low admission rate.
