UMich Chances

<p>I go to an above average school in NJ (1-2 kids go to ivies each year). I am going to be a senior next year. My GPA is around 3.6 UW/3.85 W. My SAT score is a 1970 (M: 700 CR: 630 W: 640 - 10 essay). </p>

<p>Right now you are a reach. Retake the SAT and shoot for a 2200+ score to have a good chance.</p>

<p>I agree with eziamm. At least 2100 SAT is recommended and your GPA is slightly low.</p>

<p>Good year to apply to Michigan, because they probably need out of state tuition.</p>
