UMich EA Ross-Chance me please!!:)

OOS (from Oregon) international student from Korea (Not sure if I would count as international or OOS)
Applied to Ross EA
Don’t need financial aid, if that helps at all
GPA: Unweighted 3.95
Weighted 4.09
SAT: Superscore 1510 (780 Math and 730 Reading + Writing)
AP: Chem (2 ik… teacher was new and NONE of my classmates passed, my friend and I, out of almost 15, were the only ones that got even a 2) USH (4) AP Lang (4) AP Chinese (5)
Awards: Nothing Major, just honor roll awards, school class awards, and the AP award
Extracurricular: Again, nothing too significant, Church band for 3.5 years, missions team for church, NHS (inducted as junior, Now president, Big Brothers Club (community service club), STUCO rep this year, Drama lighting crew, Ski club, volunteered at an elementary school in junior year with my school, Korean Literature Club and one more small thing I can’t really remember…
I think my essays and recs were pretty good, my teachers like me and I’m a pretty good writer.
If there’s any more information you guys feel would help evaluate my chances, please tell me!

Michigan is one of my top choices, but being on the other side of the country has made it difficult for me to visit or demonstrate much interest… Chance me everyone!

Also, my highest SAT score in one sitting is 1490 (780 Math 710 Reading)
I sent both scores I think (the other was 1400, 730 reading 670 math)

Should I not have sent my first score of 1400 in?

UMich does not super score, but they will look for your best composite score. Lower section score from other test date would not hurt you. So it is fine to send both in. Ross is very competitive and it is an automatic reach for anyone. Good EC and interesting background usually help.

I guess my EC’s are not too bad, but I do have an interesting (at least from what I think) background. I left Korea when I was 9 and studied in Canada, Malaysia, and America–and I’ve gone through Korean, Canadian, British, Chinese, International, and American schools. Do you think this helps in any way?

It makes an interesting story if you articulated it in your essays
