I know that UM Engineering is better than UVA engineering based on the programs as a whole. However, can anyone offer insight into whether the Rodman Scholars program (within UVA Engineering) is as good as UM Engineering by itself?

The Rodman Scholar program is basically UVA’s honors program. Its designed around seminar courses, smaller classrooms, and design projects. It could benefit you if you think a smaller setting would help you learn better. The program also gives you priority registration and more professor time, other than that, no.

If money isn’t too much of a problem, go to Michigan. Unless there is something huge pulling you towards Virginia.

Thanks a bunch!
