also i sent my parchment high school transcript pretty late like 1/28 and they marked it received the very next day
Hi everyone! I’m applying to UMich’s School of Information, OOS! UMich is my dream school, so I’m praying everything goes well! Anyways here are my current stats.
Stats:
College GPA - 3.631
Community College GPA - 4.0
(Took 2 classes over the Summer of 2020 at my local community college, that didn’t factor into my main College GPA)
Current Credits - 64
High School GPA - 3.446
ACT Score - 23
College EC:
Work as a DoorDasher & at a local ice cream parlor part-time.
Design for a student-run magazine as an Illustrator & Page Spread Designer.
Design Coordinator & Interim Cheif of PR for a political student org.
Worked with a cancer organization, through the political student org, to help set up an annual 5K to raise money and awareness for the cancer organization. As well as design merchandise and the 2020 race medal, which was given out to all donating 5K participants.
Co-captain of my freshman year dorm’s recreational ultimate frisbee team.
They honestly weren’t anything special lmao. I had over 60 credits, a 3.45 GPA, and 1 letter of recommendation. I’m transferring from Lansing Community College and was homeschooled in HS. I’m still shocked at their decision ngl
I may be wrong but it seems like LSA is processing apps faster than the other colleges. I think that may account for some discrepancy in the dates. Not saying everyone who applied to LSA will get their decision quickly though, just think its more likely.
No cause for alarm, but that doesn’t seem right. Have you contacted an admissions officer just to confirm they have your app? They have a live chat that yields an expedient response.
I have not yet, however, I’m wondering if it is because I applied to the School of Information? Their application is different, I had to apply through Michigan’s website, rather than applying with the commonapp or the coalitionapp. Do you think I should still email an advisor?
