UMich Fall 2021 Transfer

I heard that I could delay this till the end of March. Will it negatively affect me if I wait for my decision and then send the CSS?

If you were accepted, you might have to wait a little longer to get your financial aid package . I think you’re fine if you turn in the CSS profile before March 31st

When will we hear back for admission if the deadline is February 1? Will we hear back when the regular decision for high schoolers is released?

Guys question for y’all. The coalition application for Umich, it asks if I have had any suspensions in High School. I completely forgot I got suspended my first semester of freshman year in HS due to skipping classes but I literally forgot because it was so long ago. Is there any way that I could contact Umich and ask to reput it on my application? or do you think I’m fine not mentioning it? I’m a junior transfer student so I’m not sure how much they’d weigh something that happened my freshman year of HS.

I was accepted today 1/21 to the college of LSA at 11am!!!

submitted the application on 2020.10.09
materials received on 2021.01.13
received the offer on 2021.01.21

Congrats you both!! would you mind sharing your stats if you’re okay with it?

thank you!!! i am a sophomore at a state college with a 3.9 gpa. i had a 2.8 in high school. i chose not to submit test scores. earlier in this thread i also shared my ECs!

Ahh my mistake, did not see that! Congrats again, hopefully I’ll be able to join you there!

I hope so too! Good luck!

What major did you apply to?

Thanks!! I am a sophomore at UW-Madison with gpa 4.0. My SAT is 1540. And I’m an international student. I have several small EC.

I was rejected by Umich last time when I transfer as a freshman. According to the admission officer, it’s because I have a C on my high school transcript. But if you apply as a sophomore, they will not look much at your high school transcript.

Hope this can help! Good Luck!!

I apply for Statistics in College of Arts and Science.

Congrats! I remember seeing you on other forums for UMich right? Go Blue!

Congrats! I am currently a freshman and I will have 31 credits by the end of this semester along with some AP credits. Hopefully, I get a decision soon!

Good Luck!

I am guessing that the earlier you submitted your application, the sooner you will hear back from Michigan right? I only submitted my application in the first week of Jan as a reference.

this might sound stupid but does major choice lower/higher ur chance of getting in? let say they already accept 5 cs major transfers, then would they look for other majors ? or is it evaluated more on other criteria?

I do think that since you applied to LSA, they should at least let you in undecided? I know that they say it is a holistic review so we can only hope for the best. When did you submit your app and are you a freshman?
