Rejected Fall 2021 Applicant

Profile: First year, Applied to LSA
3.9 GPA/ around 30 credits by the end of Spring 2021

Received “update term” decision letter

*Fall 2022

Oh yeah my bad, here’s the stats

Transfer Fall 2022 reject <3
4.0 GPA / 16 credits, will have 31 by end of this semester

My letter basically just told me they dont want me :weary:
“We don’t want you, but good luck I guess :)”
In all seriousness, good luck to the rest of you guys. You are all so nice and it’s been a cool experience to have a positive CC thread. Your college decisions don’t define you <3

I am sorry to hear that, but I will say UMich will regret they miss a great applicant. Wish you the best of luck on everything!

Sorry for the late reply. Idk when my checklist was completed, and I had ab 50+ credits when I applied. Umich sent me a credit evaluation report yesterday based on all my classes through the end of this spring. According to that report, I will have ab 65 credits, 60 of which are transferable. Hope this helps!

Hi, does anyone know if applications are reviewed in the order they are received? Based on the thread, some people who have completed their checklist later than me have already received their decisions. I’m not sure if it still mean I’m in the running or just overly optimistic LOL. I also applied to LSA if that helps

I don’t think so… Well it might be reviewed in order for very early applicants (Like November or December) but not anymore since people who complete checklist by Feb 15th also get a decision. Unlike first-year application(which early decision date basically means u got in), the earlier decisions for transfer application is mixed with acceptance and rejections so all we can do at this moment is waiting, as the decision date does not indicate anything. Best wishes.

seems like they have an extremely increasing number of applicants this year.

Hi everyone, I noticed some people talking about the update term button disappearing.
Is it the button “Request to update U-M college or term” and “Request to update personal information” button?

Update the term should be the right one.

Just admitted to LSA around 10:09 EST!

Submitted 2/1 and checklist completed a few days after 2/6
Waitlisted as a senior
In-state transfer
29 credits + 15 by the end of this semester.
College GPA 4.0, hs GPA 3.74
1460 SAT
Honors college + TA job
no LOR

Good Luck to everyone still waiting!

Received request for current grades on Friday around 8PM. Sent in grades on Monday before noon and received acceptance to LSA on Tuesday AM!

This was the third attempt, HS, W22, F22.

Remember, it’s only over if you say so.

Best of luck to those still waiting.

Congrats everyone! Obviously well deserved acceptances. Has anyone heard back from CoE recently? I submitted app on 1/31 and completed checklist around Feb 6th - and haven’t heard back yet.

I submitted my application on the 31st as well to CoE. Haven’t heard back. Is there a way for me to see what date my checklist was completed?

Thanks for replying. I’m guessing we’ll have to wait another week or two to hear back from CoE.
I don’t think so? Feb 6th is a rough estimate for me
