Ohh got it!

Yes! I submitted January 5th completed January 15
To give some hope to y’all I’ll share my stats
GPA:3.6 (strong upwards trend)
Very ahead in my major with a near perfect major gpa
ECs:
Honors Society (I’m the VP)
Drama club
Part time job
I also included my graphic design hobby
I would say these are the best college essays I’ve ever written imo
This is definitely a holistic process
Good luck to everyone who hasn’t heard

What school are you transferring from?

Anyone with a sub 3.5 gpa get in? High school grades are trash. Had to retake a class also. Losing hope at this point. How much do y’all think extenuating circumstances will help?

A NESCAC freshman year, Community college sophomore. ~62 credits. I also had two strong LOR

Are you a sophomore or junior transfer?

It truly is a holistic process. If you’ve addressed your file’s perceived shortcomings, you truly feel this is where you belong and you’ve made your case, that’s all you can do. Best of luck to you.

I have 44 transferable credits and I’m taking 7 credits this semester (Working 50 hrs/week to support family and pay for education.) Would I be considered a sophomore or junior transfer?

Definitely use the additional information section. Umich cares about who you are as a person just as much as your gpa. If you didn’t mention that initially on your common app email the transfer team and let them know. It honestly makes a world of difference.

Has anyone gotten an email titled “ Entering Students & Families: Apply Now for 2022-2023 Financial Aid"? I don’t know if that’s a good sign or if that’s sent to every applicant.

i believe someone did get that email earlier and was accepted, here’s to a hopefully early congratulations!

I did get that email like a week after my Checklist disappeared and got in but not for another 3 weeks. So it might mean something lol good luck!

Just got my accpetance!!! so happy!

Congratulations! Does anyone know if a group chat for fall 2022 transfers?

no clue now :joy:

Does anyone know if there’s a number or an email to contact to see when my application might be reviewed? I submitted my application November 17 and and my checklist was complete on the 22nd of December so I thought I would have a decision back by now and am worried that I accidentally did something wrong.
