<p>If you’re not a Mich resident, you can’t expect much aid.</p>
<p>Just to put some numbers with that - my son was accepted at Michigan 2 years ago. Our EFC at the time was about $15,000. The FA we rcvd from Michigan was pitiful - about $4000 in loans and work-study - to meet a cost of about $44,000.</p>
<p>Interestingly enough - he rcvd a much better FA pkg from William & Mary - including about $16,000 in grant money - and we are OOS for both. He is attending a private university - had the highest price tag - but the best FA pkg by far.</p>
