How do I indicate that my brother is a first year student? On the Common App it asks whether “a relative has attended UMich” but never asks for specifics such as relation, year, etc…I feel like my brother attending should be viewed differently than if some random uncle happened to go there…am I correct in my thinking?
dunno if it’ll matter. But you can add that detail in the “additional information” window in the CA as you direct it to UM.
Work it into one of your essays as well…
