Hi all! I was accepted to UMich LSA in the early action round and was invited to apply to the honors program! Does anyone have any experience with it/any general opinions on whether its worth it to apply? I know it’s a bad reason to be hesitant but even the thought of their 500-1000 word essay stresses me out hahah!
I would still complete this essay (and the other shorter one) of course, but I’d love to hear if anyone has been in it and can offer some insight!
Umich LSA honors is top 5 among Honors Colleges in the country in terms of opportunities, support, peers, and outcomes. Yes, it’s worth it.
I applied to it! It sounds like an amazing experience. I just got rejected from their business school so I’m at least hoping for honors. I think the decision for me is April 1st since I submitted my app between Feb 9 and Mar 9
FYI - many business opportunities even if not doing Ross.
Anyone know if we shouldn’t expect Honors admissions decisions until April 27, or do they roll out any decisions before then?
Do honors decisions come out today?
I do think they’re supposed to come out by 11pm tonight for those who applied by March 9.
Good luck! Let us know your results. Which essay did you do?
Denied to honors college. Good luck to all of you.
So sorry to hear.
Did you receive an email or find out through enrollment connect?

Thanks. Not yet. probably won’t hear until 4/27.
