I am planning to major in business, if both schools offer same amount of FA; where should I go? I know UMich have a top ranking business school (Ross), but I was not accepted by it. Do you guys think BC's Carrol is equivalent to it?

You weren’t admitted to Ross as a pre-admit? You can still apply to Ross after freshman year, the website shows the prerequisites and typically you’re going to need a 3.5 freshman year.

As has been pointed out many times, when it comes to hiring, undergrad business programs are regional in nature. BC is a very good school and has a strong career network stretching from Boston to Washington DC. Michigan’s contacts will be stronger in Chicago and the Midwest, but most certainly will have contacts in NYC. So the question is where do you want your first job to be after graduation? Both will prepare you well, but depending on where you want to live after graduation one or the other may have an advantage from a networking point of view.

Thanks for replying!
