Hi I just applied to University of Michigan for Early Action and I sent my SAT scores yesterday 10/29. I just read that University of Michigan will only count SAT scores that arrive before 11/1. Since my scores will not arrive by then will my application be thrown away or will I be moved to regular decision?
The sat scores i sent yesterday say pending. College Board has an alert that says this:
What if the site says my score send is “pending”?
A pending score status means your scores have not yet been delivered to that institution. It is possible that this score is being sent to one of the few outstanding colleges that we are working with to resolve technical issues. We are planning to deliver scores within a timeframe that will allow those institutions to use the scores for early action/early decision applications. These colleges understand the circumstances and are working with us to resolve the issue in the best interest of students.
Will I be impacted if I’m applying with an immediate admission deadline?
With the exception of a few colleges, we anticipate that we will be able to deliver reports to meet application deadlines. For the few outstanding colleges, we are resolving technical issues and are planning to deliver scores within a timeframe that will allow the institutions to use those scores for early action/early decision applications. These colleges understand the circumstances and are working with us to resolve the issue in the best interest of students.
^^^Is Michigan one of the “few colleges” and will my application still be considered?
And if it is still considered will it be for early action???
