Umich or Uva?

Yarr! For a bit of U.Va.'s winter charm, check out:

Lighting of the Lawn is an annual party on the :awn featuring a cappella groups, speeches, and of course flipping the switch on the lights on the lawn.

As chocholic said though, winter does make spring all the sweeter.

keep in mind of each school's undergrad population as well...

Michigan has 6000 students for each year, UVA's half of that

do NOT go to UVA if u want a good engineering major. otherwise, UVA is welcoming u!

michigan has a better international reputation, but i'd argue that uva has a slightly better student body academically, alexandre wouldn't agree w/ me on this. but, i personally think so. uva is kinda preppy tho, since most people come from NOVA

You are correct Thom, I disagree that UVA has a better student body. It is impossible to say one student body is better than another when you have over 100 students...let alone over 10,000 students. Obviously, Harvard has a better student than Witchita State University, but top universities usually have excellent student bodies.

i'm tired of this fight between uva and umich. since i 've fought it for a month on my own behalf. what about: uva sux, umich rulez

to the thread starter: toss a coin :)

I think Uva has a cuter student body.

Kayz42,
I have a U-M VCD and some info I can send you. e-mail me if you are interested. I live in the same city at the moment.

"I think Uva has a cuter student body"

i love u barrons :)

sledding in the arb on a moonlit night is great.

Thank you so much.
I think I might actually choose umich in the end. My friend's sis just graduted from umich and she's telling me how ppl in uva r more conservative.
but barrons said uva has a cuter student body! and i'm still quite worried about the weather. and the difficulty of the courses, coz i heard it's really tough! =(

congrats, go for it

i bet every international student would choose michigan over uva, it's just the way it is. if u choose uva, ur parents would be like :are you mad or what? what is heck is uva? community college?
