Umich (residential college) vs. GWU

Hey, guys... I currently found out that I got in Umich residential college.
And I am trying to make a decision between Umich and GWU (intend Political Science and international relations majors). I know they are totally different schools, one is in a college town, the other one is in DC; one is huge, the other is kinda small, moreover, the weather is totally different....
DC is an amazing city (and SO ATTRACTIVE) that could easily get inters and meet cool people. Ann Arbor is "exciting", too...

But still, I want to get some suggestions from you guys about those two.
By the way, I probably will attend a law school after the undergra...
What do you think....

Thanks in advance !! :-0 :)

—Anyone???

appreciate it :)

Michigan:
top ranked polsci department
top ranked law school - u have a better chance of being admitted to the law school if u go to Michigan for UG while maintaining a good GPA
better overall school
big ten sports scene
unparalled school spirit
huge & excellent alum network
well-rounded college experience in one of the best college towns in the US!

proudWolverine, what about Residential college??

Proudwolverine said all that needs to be said. University of Michigan

The Residential College is like a LAC within the university. It is small and has a tight knit feel, but it is not for all tastes. If you are intovery artsy courses (languages, classics etc…), the Residential college is a good place to start.

At any rate, Residential College or not, unless your first priroty is to work in DC during the acadekic year, Michigan is the clear choice here. And given Michigan’s reputation on DC and its strength in Political Science, summer internships in DC are not uncommon.

Alexandre- thanks!!
Are you from Residential College? Are all classes (in four years) small? how many students then?
