Hello,

I applied around early December. Since Michigan is rolling admissions, around when should I expect a decision to come out? I assume it is before April 1?

just looking at past trends from the old decision threads, UM sends a wave of responses out around the first Friday of february

Most responses to applications submitted after Nov 1 are sent between ealy March and mid-April. However, Michigan’s applicant pool has grown so much the last two years that the admissions office is delaying responses in order to have full visibility. I think going forward, most decisions will be sent out in late March-early April.

I talked to an admissions counselor and she said that the earliest that decisions will be released is February and the latest will be mid-April.

I completed the app Jan. 20, so I’m guessing I’ll have to wait at least a month…

It really depends on the number of applicants from your area. Underrepresented areas will have a quicker turnaround time.

Wow I never knew it was rolling!
